Since living in the Ranges, I have pursued a variety of artistic endeavours including silk painting using various Shibori techniques, felting and indigo dying. When I retired a few years ago, I took the opportunity to learn from the local artists. I am currently exploring the medium of Encaustic. Using this rich, organic medium for the first time recently, I have enjoyed its versatility and hope to go on and create larger pieces. I love the sensory experience of working with wax and am delighted when the “happy accidents” occur.

Messy but graphic may be my ‘thing’.
